I disagree. I think GM crops will be the only way to go. We cannot feed 9 billion people without expanding the capacity to grow crops in brackish water, drier climates and the like.

<P>Genetic modification actually cuts the productivity of crops, an 
authoritative new study shows, undermining repeated claims that a switch to the
