I grew up in Southern Africa - there is not much more humbling and impressive than seeing the power of a white rhino in the wild. Indeed, I have been charged by a male and impressed with what a quick study I am in the emergency tree climbing dept. To see one in a zoo is just too heart-rendering for me, I simply refuse, however I do understand and support the need for breeding programs. Agree with you Wadard.
