I personally am not terribly concerned about Mr Bond's home run record, as I do not follow sports, and I truly believe there are far more important matters going on in the world. That being said, I recognize that there are gazillions of sports fans out there who are concerned with this and related matters and that's what makes horse races. Because of all this interest in Bonds and his soon to be created new home run record, I decided to read this piece I would have otherwise ignored. In reading it, once again I discovered another matter in which Bush has displayed his blatant hypocrisy. This is the "law and order" politician (not to be confused with Fred Thompson) and yet when it came to drug use in baseball during the years he owned a team, he decided to turn a blind eye. It must be nice to be able to change our values and beliefs on a moments notice when it is convenient to do so, and not have to face any consequences for doing so.
