Lt. Gen. John Kimmons, the Army deputy chief of staff for intelligence, said these words last Wednesday at the Pentagon while presenting the new Geneva-abiding Army field manual on interrogation practices. Ironically, almost at the exact same time in Washington, the US President was trying out a new angle to convince the American public of the need to torture enemies. Talk about raining on Bush's parade....
