Oh , I guess I didn't live in the moment either, to often my children talk about things that happened when they were young and I can't remember anything about it. Then I hear "Mom, you don't remember anything"....so, I blame it on getting older.

Then I hear "Mom, you don't remember anything".

I've told my own mom that same thing. I think it's just that what seems so important to a child is more easily dismissed as an adult. Therefore, the kids remember and you don't.
