However, the liberal main stream news media never lies. Right! I guess that is why so many of their listeners have a warped knowledge on what is really happening.

Because the "you did it, too" defense actually didn't collapse for some people by the third grade. Do you seriously gauge what you consider right and wrong by what you perceive other people to be getting away with?

So much for sustainable conservative values.

Funny thing...I just said on a friend's blog, that any second a Republican will come along & defend this kind of behavior by changing the subject & screeching, "But, but..MSNBC!!!" And there it is right up there ^^^^^.

Good clip Chestnut!

I love how all other media is referred to as the liberal media by conservatives. Most other media is moderate at worst and not even close to "liberal" unless directly compared to the fear mongering Fox News Network. It must be nice to be so ignorant.

I repeat "a warped knowledge on what is really happening" if you do not see the mainstream media as liberal.

A News Organization must be pretty darn honest when you have to point out the error of a reporter broadcasting live and mis-stepping over edited and combined stock footage along with a brief snippet of current footage. Wow. Thanks for pointing out how ridiculous leftists are to point out such an insignificant faux pas compared to the voluminous and daily media malpractice we are treated to on a minute by minute basis. Of course, it really doesn't matter to idiots with an IQ of a brain-dead toad. We get that. OOPS!!! Did you see that? Shepard Smith just said the Obama's name with a picture of Jesus in the background. What's he trying to tell us?

That's twice within one week that Fox has been caught doing the same thing. I'd say that;s a pattern, not mis-stepping.

The error being pointed out is not that of the reporter, it is the error of using stock footage that does not reflect the truth of the story being told and that in fact makes the story a lie. Having said that, the "error" as you call it is actually a "lie"

New rule. You can comment on my clips, not comment on my clips, pop my clips, or not pop my clips. How about we have a rule where only adults are allowed?

It is FOX who is the culpable party for either using unrelated file footage or, technical or willful failure to show an actual video. Their disingenuousness, unfortunately, has opened the door for some miso-Palins to paint Sarah Palin with the same brush.

Be that as it may, the crowds showing up for the book signing are not fabrications as this YouTube Video corroborates.

Sarah Palin Book Signing Noblesville, Indiana
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnFmwGjfEsw

Noblesville, Indiana 11-19-2009 Late Tuesday evening Sarah Palin, former Republican Vice-Presidential candidate and Alaskan Governor, came to Borders Book Store in Noblesville, Indiana to sign her new book, "Going Rouge." In order...

Palin is a hair on the Fox brush (so to speak) so we shouldn't pretend that she isn't a member of the Murdoch propaganda crew. Golly gee, 1,000 members of the lunatic asylum showed up to fawn over their leader. What a great day for the USA.

I don't think that they saw her as a leader so much as that she is one of them, one of the common people as commented on by Abraham Lincoln:

“God must love the common man, he made so many of them”

Common people? What does that really mean? Is the term similar to "normal," or "folksy." Are they are group of people who, in their snobbery, believe they know better than everyone else?

Ah, here we go... from http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu

"the common people determine the group character and preserve its customs from one generation to the next."
Hmmm ...

Palin did get quite a crowd though, but apparently she took off without signing a lot of their books after some of them waited for her most of the night. Remember that bus she's touring with? I wonder if that's the same bus she threw her fans under when she left abruptly?

Quite possibly Lincoln might have meant it to mean "Republicans" since he was one. Then again, it could possibly mean the people being disenfranchised as the enantiodromia takes place, the paradigm shift to the left.
End of this. To paraphrase your comment from another post to me: "We're done here, zizzy."
I wonder if that's the same bus she threw her fans under when she left abruptly?
The report was that approximately 300 people didn't get their books signed. That means that she signed approximately 700 books. I don't know how long it would take to accomplish such a feat, but I imagine the time involved would be consi...

Yes Steve, we are done, but I am not, (BTW: conversation over because I was tired of your bullshit ).

I don't know what Abraham Lincoln meant and since he was no friend of black folks, he's suspect. The Palin commoners are despicable: may they be crushed by the march of history.

if this is the best example u liberal knuckleheads can come up with in your never ending attempts to discredit the only REAL newschannel on tv?Last time i looked, her book was a runaway bestseller easily outselling and out drawing the rest of the field!!!!! so,while FOX may have had any recent footage from her book tour, the footage they used was still an accurate representation of her continued popularity!!!! you people are grasping at straws once again!!!! PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like so many Flavor-Aid drinkers, fondrees fails to realize that popularity ≠ competence; in fact, often the opposite. It is the sui generis that is the hallmark of quality.

@Fondrees:

It's kind of funny that this comment came in today, of all days. Firstly, you have quite a delayed reaction. This was posted over 2 months ago. Flash Forward: In other news, Fox, was the ONLY news station to cut the President's question and answer period off to take swipes at him. They cut 20 minutes off one of the most important moments of our time. We call it, (say it with me now Bi-par-ti-san-ship. Bipartisanship! After his attempt, FOX showed only the Republican's response to the Conference, while ignoring President Obama's plea for us ALL to make a path to better ourselves. Did you not see it?
