According to The Associated Press, all were called upon to appear and testify against an unidentified Chinese man accused of counterfeiting Disney and Warner Brothers products. Instead of naming the companies and their legal representatives, court clerks listed as witnesses the cartoons that decorated the toys and gadgets that the defendant was said to have reproduced, said <STRONG>Fiorenza Sorotto</STRONG>, vice president of Disney Company Italia. The characters were summoned under their respective Italian names: Topolino, Paperino, Paperina and Titti.
