The company said that lowering the encryption level of BlackBerry services in India will not solve the security concerns.</STRONG></p> <P>The Canadian company, RIM, has around 100,000 customer base in the country. The premium services offered by company have been severely affected due to its <U><A href="http://unwireindia.com/2008/03/blackberry-security-issue-makes-e-commerce-insecure/">wrangling</A></U> with Department of Telecommunication (DoT) over encryption level.</p> <P>RIM has said that it was being singled out by DoT officials and said that there were several other companies providing similar services to customers with similar encryption level.
