Wow. Where have we heard this line of $#!? before? Oh, forgot to add- Over my dead body. I just heard about a thing called a Muslim Caliphate. This is not good. http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=3&art_id=vn20070813040749633C283761 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caliphate Islamic form of government representing the political unity and leadership of the Muslim world Mr President, You have no right to degrade the humanity as a whole! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He isn't attempting to degrade humanity as a whole he is trying to save it, he's just wrong about which religion will do it. How do you know which religion is wrong and which is right? We may not know which is right, but we certainly know his is wrong! Quote: "It's downright amazing to see how many people have a direct line to God, yet all receive different messages." - Unknown Author . Unquote. It is indeed a very sad state of affair. Islam once ruled three quarters of the world and they were in great harmony under this caliphate system. But once the system is no more in this world, "thanks" to alTartuk, the world of Islam has been greatly affected, so does the rest of the world. To see that how israel is trying to take over the world now, u can see how they are doing. Wars here and there. So does America. How do you think our world will look like if what happens today continues for the rest of your life? I just heard about a thing called a Muslim Caliphate.Laceym, where have you been? alongexe, are you serious in your comments or that's your sense of humor 'shining' through? 'Israel taking over the world' - that's so absurd, it's beyond funny. I see the 'usual suspects' still having fun with this "scary topic of all" LOL. Take a break guys. When is the last time anyone ever saw any one religion taking over the world? alonqexe, you have been fed wrong information. There was no one Islam or Islamic caliphate ever. You are most likely referring to Abbasids, where as there were Fatimids, right around the same time, and Fatimids were not Caliphs, they were Imams. You basically have no idea what you're talking about. But that doesn't mean willhelm knows what he's talking about either. Oh oh. It could be arifsali not so much the lack of knowledge on the subject, but the lack of caring. After all studying details of ted bundy's life isn't that interesting, considering his deeds. But we're glad you know what you're talking about...btw, ForRest is spelled with 2 'R's... just thought I'd mention it. Whew. I'm poppin' it...but I ain't touchin' this one, ya'll. emm... why did willhelm taged this article as terrorism??? EMMMMMMM !!! Because Iran is the leading sponser of terrortism in Iraq, Africa, Asia, Hezbollah, and America !! Get a clue . Sounds like a declaration of terrorism O_o Arifsali : No caliphate ever before? You must have been fed with wrong informations.. <wiki> The caliphate is the only form of governance that has full approval in traditional Islamic theology, and "is the core political concept of Sunni Islam, by the consensus of the Muslim majority in the early centuries."[2] Andrew Hammond reports that medieval caliphates "enjoyed scientific and military superiority globally - both absent today".[3]Recordsage : Sorry, not Israel. Zeonis. My mistake. alonqexe, you seem to have reading problems, I have said no one or single Caliphate. Islam is not a monolith of a religion, never was, never will. In fact fortunately for everybody, Islam is not at all like the Roman Catholic Church with a pope as the overall acknowleded supreme head... Fortunately For the world the Islamic faith is in fact split up into different sects (?)... Some of them can feel a sense of solidarity for other Islamics, they feel are being persecuted by other nations, but not being united under one universally elected caliph (because they'd never be able to come to any agreement of the sort), if they felt attacked in anyway as a group (ie. islamics ..full-stop...) they will form alliances, and drive their masses to unite ... but deep down, their differences are so vast, these moments of unity or solidarity, are rea... but deep down, their differences are so vastActually, they didn't appear as vast for the centuries until the modern times. The differences you see are mostly cultural as there is a unity among all Muslim sects on the fundamentals of faith. The main sentence got skipped above "The differences are not that vast as you seem to indicate" Yes. I seem to have reading problems. I think i got what you mean by now. =) |
