John Haller, who previously released the portable versions of Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird and other handy applications which run off a USB stick or CD-R on his personal site, has created a new community site dedicated to portable applications.

There are already some interesting ones available, including the latest version of OpenOffice.org, FileZilla, Gaim, and NVU. Many more to come.
