But the vast majority of instances, as a review of recent of recent news clips shows, have been offered by Republican or conservative figures targeting the president or Democrats.

Take, for instance, former Saturday Night Live cast member Victoria Jackson, who warned that Obama - like Hitler - "killed the weak, the sick, the old, and babies and races/religions he didn't like. Hitler also controlled the media."

Then there is radio host Rush Limbaugh, who insisted that, "Adolf Hitler, like Barack Obama, also ruled by dictate," and RedState.com's Erick Erickson, who insisted that the president's health care adviser, Linda Douglass, "really is the Joseph Goebbels of the White House Health Care shop."

It's sadly amusing, considering that the Right owns the media, and commands by dictate. And they're the ones killing the weak, sick and old with their insane clinging to corrupt commercial healthcare. Someone needs to take away their mirrors.

Beck referenced a poem that people on both sides of the isle have used when talking about the government for DECADES. It has even been used outside politics. How is it suddenly now offensive?

As for Pelosi, she condoned this type of rhetoric when she backed a fellow house member when he equated republicans to killers and our health care system to the Holocaust. Sorry if I can't manage to muster up any sympathy for her.

So because the other side does it, it's okay?

The Representative apologized and this is a pattern, seen even here on Clipamarks of demonizing the Democrats and Liberals equating them with Hitler and the Nazis, something that Beck does all the time, without a any proof.

The ADL and others have spotted this pattern and are calling the Republicans on it. If you can't handle that, that's your problem.

So why do you keep dodging the question? Where has YOUR outrage been over the past three or four DECADES that people have been referencing that poem? It has been used by both the left and the right. It has been used when not even talking about politics. It has taken many forms over the decades. And it has been used by the left a number of times just this year. Why are you or anyone else pretending to be suddenly upset by this decades old poem?

The Representative apologized
No he didn't. That is simply a lie. He not only didn't apologize for saying republicans wanted people to die faster, that's when he came out an...

I'm not outraged about this or any other use. When used properly (I've used it) to reference real censorship, abuse and tyranny it makes sense, but Beck usage is juts pathetic. Winny little man-child complaining that the people he is trying to bully are hitting back.

As for the Congressman, he did apologize to the ADL for using the word Holocaust. As for the rest of it, why should he, when he was spot on?

The right is always so quick to evoke "Nazis" and "Hitler". You'd think they admired them or something...
