Water has already become an issue in the SE United States. As climate change continues to disrupt weather patterns the issue of water and water rights will become increasingly important.

Great clip ,the great Australian artesian basin allowed the vast desert interior of country to be opened up for sheep and cattle grazing.Ecological considerations aside it also boomed numbers of Kangaroos because of less die off in drought and more watering points for wild life.A fact not understood by Peta,so called animal rights terrorist, they rather increased populations of sheep die of fly strike in these areas instead of tailing and veterinary intervention by those responsible for management of fragile environment.
