nedhamson1 says: Three hundred journalists murdered since 1993 is Russia. Stalin would be proud. Too bad for those in Russia who wanted freedom and jobs. Are they being killed by the government or by the Russian mafia? Both are killing them. And when Russian "mafia" is not followed up on, then it seems the two are interconnected - don't you think? I don't really know enough about the situation there to offer an informed opinion. The general opinion seems to be that the mob and the government are, if not partners, at least divvying up the territory. It can get hard enough to keep track of what's going on here at home much less follow everything else in the world. I know someone who knows someone who lives in Russia. Maybe I can pass a few questions about what's really going on there. That would be nice - thanks. |
