I have often marveled at the way cake can transform from a liquid to a solid in the blink of an eye. One second, soupy mess: the next, cake! Baking is a science, I know, but it almost seems magical to me.

And may it always seem magical to you.

For to lose that sense of wonderment or sense of the magical means that "we" have become either jaded or bored.

Hey there Coconutshell. Haraya and I were just wondering yesterday where you have been.

Hey mousie, I've been gone a while, haven't I? Had to go through some poopy bits but all's fine and dandy now, and I'm back,all set to catch up on clips and start clipping again.

I baked a cake today (lemon, if you care) and I am using 6-inch pans. I have to guess the right amount of time, because it is so much smaller.

Anyway, guess what? At 22 minutes it was a batter-y soup. At 25 minutes it was CAKE.

It just blows my mind every time. At just the right temperature it says "I'm cake now."
