A contest for designers to develop consumer electronic devices gadgets with a minimum of environmental impact of at any stage in the product lifecycle

The net is having a profound effect on the way we think. Something like this may not have been possible 10 years ago, certainly not so widely seen. These days volume seems to be a priority, and it can be amazing that as big and intricate as the internet is, that news of a good idea can spread like fire (or perhaps lightning) We wont have any idea about the way we have been able to reform for the better until we wait a few years and look back, but time is what it takes to get a clearer perspective. Perhaps common sense can turn the world around and stop so much money being spent on destruction, and redirect it towards creation, and invention. It would certainly be more popular. It may even advertise it's self.
