funana says: Oboe upgraded my account today - and now I can upload all of my MP3s online and listen to them wherever I go. Very usefull. And it's free! only 10 mb for free account... can be useful though They gave me the upgrade for free and I stored 400 MB mp3s before with their free service: The Oboe Free Locker includes unlimited storage for music you find on the Internet.I love the Oboe FF plugin... You can save every MP3 you find online to your locker - unlimited. So go to http://singingfish.com and add what you like I registered for the free account Just finished uploading 453mb Account says 453mb of Unlimited Sounds pretty interesting. I know a lot of folks carry around their whole music library on their iPods now, but I have (gasp!) yet to invest in one... I used to set up shoutcast server and stream music from home, bu tit was a little too rigid (couldn't fastforward directly, etc). The service looks very good. 'm uploading now and it will take some time because it's my whole collection that I will try to up. I would never kick my stored music because of an online locker but once I lost 40 Gig of my MP3s and I wished I would have something like oboe then... I may try this. Thanks for the clip. I sometimes wonder what the 'hitch' is with this type of site. Can you trust them not to pirate-ize your music? The must have loads of music on their servers and all of it free. What keeps them from using it for their own gain? Or is this question invalid? Hmmm. I really don't know why I should care if they "piratize" my music. It's them beeing criminal then, not me |
