Its true and an undeniable fact that the stars are rather oddly in the inverted position. Republicanism, and democrats both, can be traced back to the French revolution, freemasonry, and secret societies.

Paul Craig Roberts lately has been calling the Neoconservative Republicans the "Jacobins" (radical revolutionaries), which is dead on. After the bloody French revolution they installed a draconian "Homeland Security" type government to cement the revolution.

Good eye debbyski, that's quite an esoteric perspective. Do you think there's a real relationship?

Well Aces,
Those that use symbolism most certainly believe in it's power. The GOP changed the star from pointing up to down about 7 years ago. Is it Satanism? Or do I just enjoy a good conspiracy theory? Most likely the latter; but what do I know?

They actually changed it on purpose? Now that's deep! If they did it on purpose, it likely has an implication. And there are only a few traditional meanings for the inverted pentagram.

One is The Order of the Eastern Star, which I thought was basically the women's version of the Freemasonry, but come to find men can join it too.

I think she might be trying to signify that presidents (American) are generally all Masons under which she would maintain that tradition. I don't think Obama is (I'll be surprised).

Other than that, its meaning (the inverted star) could only be horrific.

It's a quite interesting find. Thanks.

Yeah,
They did change it and no one seems to know why or who designed it or anything about the change at all. And I know what you mean about the horrific possible meaning of the symbolism.

LOL! This is a conspirary theory I haven't heard yet.
