blueridge says:
Obviously this woman is not a teen. The Texas authorities requested her arrest documents to be sealed, the article says at bottom. Why? So that the truth would not disturb their legally questionable procedures. The AP got it unsealed, but everyone is pretending as if it does not matter. The pattern of this woman in her fake calls of abuse suggests a conspiracy to make false accusations in order to justify inflammatory claims and proceedings.

While this is definitely disturbing, even a scam artists sometimes turns up a very real problem.

It is unlawful for authorities to proceed upon fraudulent claims, and it appears they may have even know the possibility of a false claim but wanted to proceed anyway, apart from the law, on their own. "The end does not justify the means", and authorities are bound by law, nor have the charges of "abuse" of children been substantiated yet by evidence. So far they have been tried without evidence in the arbitrary Court of Public Opinion, while the law is being trampled.

See Clipmark on "Cato Institute Warns of Unjust Texas Sect Trial" to hear an excellent legal analysis.

Blueridge, you took twords right out of my mouth. And words about this have been building up in my mind.

Re: Is is "legal," to contine with all this when the initial complaint may prove to be false?

On news last night someone said that since the initial reason for the raid may prove false this would hinder Criminal charges but that Civil charges would probably proceed.

This whole thing is scary. The state taking children from mothers really rips the heart out of people; no reasonable or decent people would advocate or allow sexual abuse of children but taking away children who are not in such danger and who are loved and cared for should not be done either.

MAYBE they were in danger. MAY...
