Endocrine and celebral damages from it are only tip of the iceberg. All chemical reactions from chemicals inside living organism are impossible to count and predict. The nature (or it was God?) provided us with simple detectors - our feelings. Even small disturbances cannot be left without attention. That is a core for preventive medicine. I think most old and modern diseases can be eliminated by excluding harmful and even suspicious chemicals from contact with humans and wildlife. May be we will reveal some new one then?
