I just checked our tupperware and it says 5 in the triangle with PP beneath it. According to this list, we're safe. Check your stuff, it can't hurt to be safe.

Don't "trust" your Tupperware. The plasticizers used to make things like Tupperware flexible are also harmful and are released from the plastic when heated. Thus you should not heat your food in plastic nor put hot food into plastic containers (not true of Styrofoam...). We transfer all our food out of plastic when reheating or use Pyrex containers.
