The Bush administration’s refusal to extend a helping hand to those punished by the economy it created is nothing new: Last month, the White House threatened to veto a second stimulus package over opposition to an expansion of food stamps benefits.

What a moron. Giving jobless people social support helps them get back into the job field faster. Without aid such as travel vouchers, retraining and startup money, a lot of people simply can't change their career to something with more job security. This just shows that Dubya and the White House have no idea what it's like to be a normal person, or what it takes to keep the US running.

What do you expect of a country that's run by the most popular millionaire, though? Understanding of the typical American? Bullshoi!!
