This causes <A title="Physical%20compression" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_compression">compression</A>, <A title="Heating" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heating">heating</A>, and a change in the <A title="Magnetic%20field" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_field">magnetic field</A>. The termination shock is believed to be 75-90 <A title="Astronomical%20unit" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronomical_unit">astronomical units</A><A title="http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap020624.html" class="external%20autonumber" href="http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap020624.html">[1]</A> from the Sun.
