There are not many noises about the same action in other states. These states seem happy enough to allow dioxins too. One of the problems with politics is their thinking can be short term and revolves around elections. There are very short term benefits, which will lead to long term consequences that might only start to affect people after those who allowed things like this to happen are gone. Too often for short term personal gain, when with some actions there is no way for them to be reversed. Discovering what we shouldn't have done when it's too late is a bad plan. It's like we're children just twisting something just so we can see how long it takes to make it snap. Then when it snaps, it happens where we didn't expect. I must remember however that criticism is only really valuable if it points toward a... these little fallas are natures clean up crew..... in adelaides torrens river ( large drain ) they have been trying to get rid of green- blue algae... these guys pulled excess carbon out of our atmosphere a zillion yrs ago.. allowing life to emerge .... |
