But the rapidly growing Chinese Internet apparently could not wait for it. Last week a Chinese virtual world was launched, named <A href="http://www.hipihi.com/" snap_preview_added="spa" parent_link_icon="false" text_trigger="false" icon_trigger="true" snap_icon_added="spa">HiPiHi<IMG height="13" hspace="0" src="http://spa.snap.com/images/v1.23.1/t.gif" width="14" vspace="0" snap_preview_added="spa" /></A>. It's a SecondLife-like 3D virtual world and it started a limited beta test last week.
