WALLKILL, NY â€“ Some 50 people lined the main road into the Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill Sunday afternoon calling for the impeachment of President Bush.

The protestors, from a number of local anti-war groups, carried placards denouncing the war in Iraq and the presidentâ€™s actions.

One of the organizers, Michael Sussman, said there needs to be active movement toward impeachment because of what the President has done.

â€œThe President has supported torture, he has lied to the people about a war, not about oral sex, he has engaged in a pattern of conduct for which he has to be held accountable or else future generations will look back and say, â€˜What were you doing? What about the Constitution? Was it suspended during your time?â€
