mountainpalm says: Experts accurately describe the Mirador Basin as the “Cradle of Maya Civilization.” The archeological site of El Mirador itself covers over approximately four square miles and has the greatest concentration of civic and religious buildings in the Maya world, far larger and an estimated 800 years older than nearby Tikal. El Mirador’s La Danta Pyramid, rising 230 feet, is the greatest structure the Maya ever built, and both it and the slightly smaller Tigre Pyramid dwarf even the largest structures in Mexico. Abandoned shortly after the time of Christ, the Mirador Basin’s Preclassic Maya cities remain largely preserved without major destruction from subsequent occupations, leaving their unique history intact. This is an amazing discovery. I can't wait to learn more about it....As they said in the video...it changes everything..... wow. ....what a fascinating discovery Carl Jung defined "Synchronicity" as "meaningful conincidence." The closer we come to December 21, 2012, the end date of the Mayan Calendar, the more we will learn about who the Mayans were, where they came from, and where they went. My thoughts exactly Steve.......... The Celestine Insights: First Insight: Critical Mass. A new spirit awakening is occurring in human culture, an awakening brought about by a critical mass of individuals who experience their lives as a spiritual unfolding, a journey in which we are led forward by mysterious coincidences. There is no such thing as CO-INCIDENCE.! Attention is being shifted from the Middle East to South America. The pyramids, however, are consistent with human migration carrying the same religious superstitions, almost completely mimicked from Egypt, to the West. Note there is a "creation account", for ancient and pagan societies transmitted, but only corrupted the details, of both Creation and Flood (proving that "religion" was not merely man-made, but an attempt and "groping after God to find him", as Paul told the Athenians). |
