Do you read the accounts of how we treated some of these prisoners-the inhumanity is stunning. Behaving like the enemy is not the answer. Do you read the accounts of many military, FBI, and some conservatives who denounce those practices and say they did NOT save lives? Do you even try to give yourself a balanced viewpoint? Nope, but I do think there may have been a political and ideological attempt to thwart the law and the constitution which in the end has eroded our ability to be the beacon of shining light, which has made us more hated by our enemies, and which just by the evidence of it's illegality should be prosecuted in the appropriate court of law, just as we would expect of any accused criminal. I believe they are misinformed, nothing more, but if they actually authorize its use by subordinates, their defense shouldn't overrule or ignore the law just because they were scared and/or ignorant of the law.
