Respectful conversations DO NOT begin with the mass production of an implicatory opinion.
What do I mean "implicatory opinion"?
Well, for instance, the statement given in this article could easily do without the belittling comment regards the Creator being "a figment of our imaginations".
Granted a reasonable person might agree that we "cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure.". But even if this is so, what would be wrong or errant about admitting failure and "repenting", and then asking for help from the very One that you believe could have prevented the catastrophe in the first place, had you sought Him before hand. I'd say "well done", to admit your wrong shows a great deal of integrity.
