In my view Katrina was a retaliation against rebellious spot inside conservative south. Establishment just let it happen. It was in the air long time before. Mardi Gras with ancient customs of trowing beads from balkonies in French Quarter... Canal street for next morning... Surrounding parishes... Street performers...
