BartendingBear says: You have to read what comes between these two paragraphs. July 4th, for me, represents the finest freedom and the free spirit in the world, the US of A! The world may hate America, but I love! No other country can boast of the whole world in one country...the spirit of tolerance symbolizes the finest people in the world, the Americans! Never ever in the world, not the least in India, such a tolerance towards people from the rest of the world has ever been practiced this much! Hats off to the Americans!!! Its the day after the 3rd and the day before the 5th in the month of July. That is what it REALLY means. But what it represents is a whole new ballgame. Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple pie and Chevrolet! Its the one day we should be thinking about what it means to be American. What our ancestors wanted for us and gave their lives to give to us. Its about being able to go across our country and meet people that have the same rights as you do and its about the freedom of being able to speak your mind, assemble, discuss, rally, carry guns, not carry guns, discuss guns, protest guns, go to church, not go to church, discuss religion, protest religion, choose leaders, not choose leaders, discuss leaders ... Hats off to the Americans!!!Thank you, MOC. What a nice thing to say. |
