meerkat says: So useful for professional portraits, or for random pictures with your friends. Ah, vanity. Ah, vanity. Also my favorite sin. And welcome to Clipmarks! Pretty cool! This might come in handy x) this reminds me of an episode of "friends" when chandler (matthew perry) couldn't take a decent picture so he did a trial photoshoot to prep for his wedding to monica (courtney cox)...these tips would have helped him!!! Cool tips, but I wonder what the rationale of #5 is? oh well #5 looking above the lens avoids flash, it also gives the impression of being a candid shot (Not posed). Excellent....any tips on looking taller other than standing on a box? hmm, Coconutshell. Maybe surround yourself with shorter people? Or pose with doll furniture? Thanks! coconutshell - Stilts! don't worry coconutshell, at least no one would be able to see a double chin. when i used to take photos for the school paper, one of the teachers would always make me stand on a chair and take the photo looking down. she thought it made her look skinnier, i think she may have been beyond help personally... True maddi...I've become an expert on taking photos an arm's length away...I learned never to to get the camera below the nose... dfiskey - kudos on the friends reference. althought i don't think any of those really would've helped chandler. 3/4 of a creepy smile is still creepy. probably every picture i've had on my profile was taken at arms length, and usually in a hurry. spending more time on pictures of me doesn't make me feel any better about them. Oh, yes...I agree about the tip on smiling. Also - You can always use some photoshop editing to make the picture perfect: www.photochop.com See the clip posting on photochop or go directly to the site. Very handy info! Thanks for sharing |
