Let us recall and remember too the Roman Catholic popes' persecutions of the Protestants, which exceeded that in both numbers and brutality of even pagan Rome, catalogued in multiple volumes in Fox's Book of Martyrs.

It is a shame that those who shared in the belief of the divinity of Christ sought to destroy each other.

You should also realize that Christian on Christian persecution wasn't solely Catholics against Protestants.
