enbar says: This will freak you out. Yes, there are a few documented cases of fathers lactating enough to feed their children. For the record, I haven't tried it, though there have been times when I wished I could. I'm all for a father bonding but this is carrying it a little too far . . . I've always said... If a Dayak Fruit Bat can do it, then dag nabit, I can do it too! LOL Ouyang! Enbar, do men generally wish they could? It would be interesting to get a consensus on this. No, i suspect I'm unusual. It's not for any real profound reason either. I am just envious of the fact that my wife can so easily soothe our newborn and I can't. When I'm alone with her and she's fussy, sometimes i just have to wait until my wife shows up before she'll calm down. It was the same way with my son. I wouldn't want to do it. You're an unusual and sensitive man Enbar. I think your wife and child/children are fortunate to have you. I wouldn't try to stop someone that wanted to tho. Its his body. Aw shucks michellezm ... I just hate hearing a baby cry. Nice of you to say so though. Most would probably consider my feelings on the subject pretty freakish. enbar...it's not the same, but try a pacifier. When all else fails, put some honey, peanut butter, or (from my long deceased MIL) a splash of hot toddie on it...the pacifier that is :~) All the while rocking and quietly singing. sorry, but this just seems gross. But what people do in the privacy of their own homes/families is between them, their conscious, and *nature*. On second thought, given the Dayak Fruit bat connection, perhaps this explains the nipples on the Batman costume... Hi En, I feel bad for you now...bring her to me, I'll nurse 'er LOL michellezm - you're right about 'im...but they are nice too (his wife and children, that is!) all I have to say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! somehow cool |
