I am an add-on addict of Firefox: the more I had added on the add-ons, the more Firefox had become sluggish in opening up! the above tips has helped me, well, agreeably so! If someone knows more such tricks, let's all share...

I did #1, 2 , and 3. I've read that doing #4 is not recommended. Overloads servers. I haven't noticed any difference other than FF has crashed twice this morning since I made these changes.

Now, I just got notice FF upgrade is ready to be installed. Could explain the crashes.

I just downloaded Cooliris Previews 2.3. I LOVE IT!!!!! and I haven't even played with it yet! Do you have 2.3 version? It's not on FF addon site.
