Nation to Republicans and W

A solid majority of Americans say they want their congressional representative to support a bill calling for a withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq by August 2008. Nearly six-in-ten (59%) say they would like to see their representative vote for such legislation, compared with just 33% who want their representative to oppose it.

This includes independents whom 61% want their representative to vote for a bill calling for an Iraq troop pullout by August 2008 - Link

Good luck in trying to spin America as Unamerican.

Then why haven't the Dems had the testicular fortitude to pass such legislation? It can't be that not even they trust such polls and are fearful of backlash in 2008, can it?

Why haven't conservative Republicans had the testicular fortitude to buck the ranks of the Iron fist of Dick Cheney and W. The majority against being in Iraq applies to the Republican legislators as much as it does anyone else.

I guess they would rather be like dogs under the table feeding off what little table scraps they can get from their master.
