Personally I have no issues with a person speaking freely and frankly about their religious persuasions. Contrary to what some would propagate, ones faith (no matter what it is or lack thereof) is a central part of who they are. What's so irritating, of course, is that what's good for the goose is not good for the gander. If it's traditional Christianity it's portrayed as evil, intolerant, narrow-minded, ignorant and even anti-American.
