Iran: "people are not afraid anymore"

The Iranian people are being hacked, axed and murdered as we clip---today being the bloodiest day yet:

Please tell me you can watch these reports-- directly from the people in Iran --today---- and then tell me how "they are not afraid anymore".

They have every reason to not only be absolutely afraid, but even terrified---
they are all on their own!

Well, we could encourage them to revolt and promise them assistance - like we did the Hungarians in (I believe) 1958. Or the Shiites against Saddam after the 1st Gulf War.

Or we could listen to what they''re telling us and stay the hell out of their country. Iran has been uprooted by America before; no one wants the US government involved except zealous but ill-informed Republicans. It would be the kiss of death on the reform movement.

It's their country. They don't want Americans interfering any more than Americans would want the Iranian government interfering with the American Elections and Government.

The Experts agree; Obama is doing the exact right thing in staying neutral. The loons can scream and wail for more American Bully tactics, but Obama knows that will just make things worse for Iran, and America.

"they are not afraid anymore" - does not come 2 say they are not living in fear. it means they now act as if there is nothing 2 lose anymore! i hope the people of Iran have reached this irreversible point so a real transformation will take place.

Important to remember that this is the first time the Revolution has been seriously challenged. And the vast majority who did so are completely unscathed.
It will take a few years, but Iran has realized the ultra-religious authoritarian regime is not invinceable, and is not democratic.

The genie's out of the bottle, and it won't go back - unless the USA blunders into making the reform movement look pro-American - then all Iran will reject it.

Perhaps the comment about fear might have better used a different word - something like "cowed." The people are no longer cowed into submission.
wt is correct, no true hero is without fear, for then heroism would take no courage.

1. Masbury saying the fear was over for Iranians--although he has now modified his use of the word fear to cowed (lol)

2. Dorkfarce the Canadian-who-hates-the-USA claiming the Iranians don't want or need American help.

The world has seen what "side" Obama is taking, and most are disgusted.

The question was answered already-- and you both know it. Through my clips I think you have managed to grasp that I would like to see a much more forceful approach in both his attitude and his language. I would like to see him speak more to those battered and terrified Iranians and not be so cautious and appearing to be almost appeasing those who enslave them. Thankfully he has been moving towards a stronger stance, sadly it has come so late and seemingly only on the heels of worldwide criticism.

And oh ya, the subject of this clip was Masbury claiming the Iranians no longer had fear.....not "what should Obama do", so accusing me of not answering questions is stupid and deceitful, but that ...
