A flash flood watch remains in effect for the entire <SPAN id="lw_1197066520_0" class="yshortcuts">state of Hawaii</SPAN> until 6 p.m. Friday. Ron Koehler of <SPAN id="lw_1197066520_7" class="yshortcuts">Mauna Kea Observatories</SPAN> Support Services said the Mauna Kea Access Road is still closed until the weather improves. According to Koehler, snow fell on the 13,796 foot tall mountain at the 11,000-foot level, with snowdrifts more than three feet deep at the 13,000 foot elevation.
