I'm still trying to figure out why anyone would still be using IE6. After all, IE7 is such a quantum leap forward (albeit mostly ripped from other browsers). If you have a dial-up connection that makes the download a pain, you can just get a newer version of Firefox, Chrome, or Opera.

I don't think much of IE8 either. Firefox is the best, but gobbles up memory like peanuts to an Elephant. However they offer a Chrome now too. I wasn't impressed. I have been using Google Chrome now for my short Internet visits, but I can't clip from there. If I find something really good I have to copy & paste it onto another browser.
I think they should just shit can the lot of IEs and come up with something without all those annoying ads that dance in corners, and constantly show page errors, and be done with the lot.

I agree that any browser is better than IE, even IE 8. And yes, the most annoying thing about Google Chrome is that there's no Clipmarks extension. I'm fortunate enough to use Linux (Ubuntu specifically) for my leisure computing, so Firefox's memory hogging isn't as big a deal.
