Carter needs to stick to building crappy houses. He was a mediocre president at best and has no clue when It comes to dealing with world politics. Does he REALLY believe that hamas is going to honor a peace treaty with the people they have sworn to, and I quote "wipe from the face of the earth". Its a perfect setup for religious extremists who believe that they can kill as many people as they want by simply doing in the name of allah or mohammad. Just get the other side to lay down their weapons and withdraw... then swoop in and kill them all... Way to go Jimmy!

I was in the military once. It was during the Carter administration and I was damn lucky for it too. He actually believed and practiced diplomacy and, although we got close to going to war, it didn't happen due to his efforts. He was the last president I cared for. (Nothing but criminals in the oval office ever since.)
