Nevertheless, the next logical step has already been hinted at by <A href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Ryoji+Chubachi/">Ryoji Chubachi</A> at a recent press event in Taipei. Reportedly, Sony is hoping to "increase the global market share of its BD products from 20-percent currently to 50-percent by the end of 2008," and in order to do so, it's looking to gift select LCD HDTVs with "BD recording functionality."
