One year I saw this meteor shower far away from city lights. It was spectacular!

I'll be at the ranch that weekend. No lights!! Figure I'll drive back to Houston early Mon morning. On moonless nights the starts are spectacular up there.

I'll probably head up into the Rockies somewhere close by and pitch the tent. Always nice to go up there anyway!
