Don't say "I'm sorry" because that makes you look weak? Not sure I buy that part. Otherwise, good advice.

I think a "sorry" can be delivered firmly and with strength. I like to say "pardon" or "excuse me" because it conveys politeness without sniveling to get out of a situation!
