This is another favorite recipe, and it's easy to make, but a bit fiddly. In fact they are so good, i doubt you would find better scones anywhere. I haven't tried it, but i imagine a person could take the basic recipe and fool around with additions--like maybe dried cranberry instead of the apricot? Oh, and btw--they're not better with extra lemon in the topping.
