That's one thing I love about the 'Permaculture' designs...wild n free n useful, nothing manicured in sight, lol.

I have a beautiful lawn out front and a huge veggie garden out back. I also have fruit trees and bushes of berries at the borders. We live in a 'fruit belt' and so many things grow well here.

I've always preferred a garden to a lawn. I have a patio garden I started last summer. It didn't do to well because of squirrels and mean people but I'm hoping to do better this year.
