pkronfield says: Behold, the insincerity of Liberals. Their passion wasn't about the war. It was about power and damaging a war time President. I don't call this politics. I call this treason. I don't call it treason, it's hypocrisy and idiocy though.... Engaging in rhetoric, misinformation, policy obfuscation regarding funding, the surge, support, etc, and willingly misrepresenting the success of our troops ( Reid saying the "war is lost") that demoralizes our military, outside of legitimate and civil objection, may not be treason, but it is damn close. It certainly suggests the left does not have the best interests of The US, success in Iraq, and the troops. Liberals are the Left now?...Okay, gotcha. If it weren't for Liberals, you guys would have your fingers up your nose and the other hand in your pants. If it weren't for liberals, our prisons would be emptied of nearly 3/4 of their populations (packed with criminals who just happen to be illegal immigrants); our taxes would be significantly lower (not having to pay for the illegals medical care, and for minority entitlement programs), our Nation would be stronger (only liberals gut the defense budget in times of peril); we wouldn't have to press 1 for English, we wouldn't have to stand in line for hours at the emergency rooms across the nation; there would be less crime, less traffic accidents, less drug addicted Americans. Liberals are the root cause of most if not all of the misery afflicting our society. Case in point. I got sick r... That is one way to look at it. Another way would be that the powers that be are doing a good job of keeping the populous divided and distracted so they can do as they please. You are ripe for the picking. success in IraqWillhelm, people were always comparing Iraq to Vietnam. I forget — did we win in Vietnam? Want to talk about VN? I was there. What defeated us wasn't the VC or the North Vietnamese. The liberals pulled their now familiar tactic of undermining the President, betraying the troops, and giving hope to the enemy to keep fighting. After the Tet offensive, the enemy was whipped. Ho Chi Minh later said that it was only after evaluating the great debilitating effect on the moral of Americans the Left was having, that enabled them to hang on and wait for us to defeat ourselves. This is very familiar. Our efforts in Iraq succeeded, and peace finally returned to that tortured country. Now that the liberals of snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, what is on today's news? 90 dead i... You forget that we had no business there in the first place. |
