Still, not as bad as when, years ago now, they had their prophet holed up in the inner sanctums of the Salt Lake temple for days, fasting and praying and "pleading with the Lord" to allow blacks (men only, of course) to hold the priesthood. So God is a racist? He had to be convinced? Mormons, give us a break already!

There's a number of Christian versions of YouTube out there. Most of them censor pretty heavily 'cause they don't allow anything off-topic.

<P>After starting its own YouTube channel with faith-promoting messages, there is <A target="_blank" href="http://newsnet.byu.edu/story.cfm/72945" linkindex="2" tip="">now talk that BYU might lift its ban on the formerly evil YouTube</A>.  Now wouldn’t that be an intriguing change in policy:</p> <UL>
<li style="margin-left:16px;padding-left: 0px;">Prior policy: YouTube has bad stuff on it, so it is not acceptable.  Plus, students are not capable of policing themselves, so we’ll do it for them.</LI>
<li style="margin-left:16px;padding-left: 0px;">New policy: Well, people are spending time on YouTube, and since it’s an effective tool for spreading a message, we’ll use it.  And it probably looks bad if the official religion uses it but students at our flagship university are too immature to use it.</LI>
</UL>
<P>Of course, this is still tentative.
