thisnamecantbetaken says: >>>I'm whispering this clip, because if my cats knew I was clipping it, I would be in BIG trouble!<<< There was a clip recently about traumatised elephants, who appear to remember incidents for decades. Now we speak of elephant's memories but why not other animals, too. I had a kitten, Althea, who got her front paw trodden on when she was just a wee tiny little thing. All her life, she was terrified of shoes and at the slightest sign of a shoelace...BAM, she was outta there! She lived to be almost 14 and never forgot. Bless her heart. I made it a point to visit often. [To see the dog] which were joyful times. But between those visits he'd sit mournfully at the window, crying real tears, waiting watching for my arrival. And would not eat or anything. I knew a dog that was hit my lightning. After he survived that, any storm was traumatic. When the barometer went down he'd cower under furniture. He may have has PTSD?
