Good to see something's being atempted in atleast one state! It's quite astonishing how there is almost no talk of the need for population control in India. I don't see it being debated in the news papers or on TV. Is the general population apathetic to the problem?
On a side note, it's quite interesting to see this being introduced in Maharashtra - a state being run by Shiv sena.I bet the moral-brigade will have a say about this being unindian or something ridiculous.
