Any shot that one of the main reasons why so many people are joining the terrorist fight is because they have nothing better to do? I know that sounds crazy, but for many of them it must be a great source of adrenaline and provide a strong sense of purpose.

Another way of saying the same thing would be, would someone with a good job, healthy family and enjoyable life be willing to sacrifice it all or do you have to basically have nothing much to lose?

I'd say a few are sacrificing it Eric. Out of the recent Pakistani Terrorists caught (2 days ago), 1 of them was a surgeon while the other was a student.

The Adrenaline thing is huge, note that majority of them are in their 20s. Just saying that's all.
